I took these an hour ago or so, looking east. Those mountains top out between 12-13k'. Raging over in South Park.

Dumb luck I got em too. RH has been about 7% all day, so not exactly expecting storms. Go out to check the sunset and the valley in front of me had a weird red hue...and then I looked east.

Silverthorne is looking south at the storm. The divide runs roughly west to east to the south and the storm is on the other side of that.
