Chantal seems to be heading East. Probably heading towards Iceland/Ireland.

Sac to Dic ratio on that forecast is awkward but is 2019 and I’m not allowed to judge

That said, Weather Channel will no doubt preempt a week in advance with nonstop coverage of a wind event on a beach. RIP the lone fallen tree (branch) casualty.

It is close enough to the shipping lanes ships would likely have reported this one. But outside that happenstance, we would not have known it was there.
