Yep.

Cracked one once coughing with pneumonia. It took forever to heal...

THIS! The amount of pain your ribs can give you is incredible. And what makes it worse is how slowly ribs heal.

Rub Vaseline on it. When it soaks in, it kind of soothes the pain

Pretty much. It just takes time. Don't get a bad cold in the meantime or coughing and sneezing will suck more than usual.

One of the first things they handed me after I woke up from my surgery was one of these pillows to hold onto when I had to cough...



... they told me this pillow would be my new best friend. They weren't lying. For the first month or so that pillow was either in my lap or right next to me.
