Anyone here successfully treated insomnia without prescription meds? I've tried most of the common tips (eliminating caffeine, melatonin, hot baths, etc...) but nothing works. Also, my problem isn't falling asleep. It's staying asleep. I usually wake up after 3 or 4 hours and then it's another long night tossing and turning.

It might be a gimmic, but I saw this company called Cloudy that makes melatonin/lavender vape pens. I may give 1 a try for a month and see if they work. I also have trouble sleeping at night, mostly due to back and shoulder issues, and when you wake up at 5am, my sleep is valuable.

Workout. Hard. That’s what helped me. Make your body so tired your thoughts can’t keep you up.

Meditation

Sometimes insomnia can be due to unseen stress and anxiety. Meditation is effective at reducing both. There are tons of apps for easy guided meditations.

Problem drinkers start experiencing withdrawals after 3-4 hours. Causes a lot of anxiety. Wakes people up in their sleep, usually for about two hours and then they go back to sleep (about the time they should probably be waking up). You probably don’t drink often if you’ve tried common tips for better sleep because that’s probably #1 or #2.

You will be sucking dick for meth by the time your trial period is over.

Oh, I've done that. I quit a few weeks ago. It didn't help.
