The car in the OP is well done. It's NOT worth $239k. But I don't think it's intended to be a volume seller.

I will say this....the OT has fricking changed for sure. Yall fricking hate anything that is remotely expensive.
people that buy this vehicle are not doing 72 month loans for the most part and if they are.....they can certainly afford it.
many of yall come off jealous AF...just saying

It is beautiful. However, no chance I would, should, or could buy it.
ETA: On pic 8, is that a plastic or metal badge directly in the back of the driver midway up the seat back?

I don’t love the dash but that’s a great vehicle

The interplay of the insane depreciation for an EV with it being a "collector" series on a limited run would be interesting. My money is on EV depreciation being the big winner, though.

In an unusually non-pedantic akshually post this is not an EV. It is powered by an all-aluminum GenV SBC pumping out 682hp and 653 lb-ft of torque. The LT4 is one of the highest expressions of the venerable overhead-valve Small Block Chevy V8: forged internals, camshaft in the V where 'Merican Jesus intended, using pushrods to actuate big titanium intake valves and sodium filled SS exhaust valves. 376 cubic inches (6.2 liters in commie numbers) of oversquare displacement pressurized with a 1.7 liter supercharger. The exhaust burbles a tune eerily reminiscent of George Washington's opus Sonata in C Major: Let Freedom Rumble.

Correct.
The limited edition EV that Cadillac makes is called Celestic, and it's hand built in Detroit and costs $300k+. They'll build the interior with whatever color pallet you want like the old stagecoaches and ultra high end cars Cadillac got started with.
The Escalade has always been high end, and there is an EV model as well. But it's never been THAT kind of vehicle.
Celestiq is drop dead gorgeous:
