When my daughter was close to that age she was attacked and mauled by a neighbors dog. Her face was ripped to shreds, Had facial Reconstructive surgery ,had over 300 facial stitches, and spent months recovering. We felt very fortunate that she survived.
Not only does something like that cause significant physical damage- it causes Emotional and psychological damage that lasts a lifetime.
I don't wish a dog attack on my worst enemy. I pray for the family of this girl.

Cane corsos are kind of like AKs ... they look scarier than they really are.

This is just so easy to prevent and yet nothing happens. What if drunk drivers were killing everyone and yet we didn’t ban drunk driving? That’s how I feel about pit bull ownership. These dogs have to go. They are destroying lives and they are useless beasts!

I appreciate your kind words. It was quite an ordeal for her and our entire family.... Not even to mention the legal stuff we had to go through.
I still have my daughter... I can still hug her, talk to her, currently watching her thrive in college, etc.... We consider ourselves very fortunate. The family of Sadie Davila isn't as fortunate. I can't even begin to imagine what they are dealing with today. My heart breaks for them.

The mother is starting a go fund me. Stated the funeral expenses are paid, but they need things around the house and help with bills and groceries

My friends brother had one that was afraid of its own shadow. If you moved it would flinch. I kept waiting for it to get spooked and bite someone’s knee cap off.

It’s odd to me how those who train or love pit bulls always say they aren’t naturally violent, and they have to be trained to be that way. Yet, when there are dog attacks nationally, 90+ percent of the time, the dog involved in the attack is a pit bull.
I guess it’s just coincidence.
