Used to bicycle that part of the parish. It only took a couple of times before I began turning around at Kendalwood and later even skipping Hoo Shoo Too altogether. Of course, I traded that area for the levee trail and the pit bulls for the 2000 lb bulls on a section of levee there.

Mine is such a sweet snuggler. I let it snuggle with my 8 month old in a pack and play. They both just love it!

If this were the neighbors dog, the parents would be screaming bloody murder (which is accurate in this case). If they are the owners, then breed of piece owners all say that it’s how the dog was raised. It’s obviously in the animal’s dna because you’ve never read of a dachshund mauling anyone to death. There has to be jail time involved for negligence in this case, no?

Thanks. I should have know with Hoo Shoo Too Road. I live not far from there and folks on the "Neighbors" app have been complaining about dogs running loose in that area. So sad.

Wife defends Pitbulls as getting a bad rap. Even the best of humans can have a bad day and go rogue. The point re a Pit is that hold the ABILITY to kill.
Horrible way to die, for a helpless child. I totally agree with the Owner being charged with Negligent Homicide.
