He's answered a lot of them before on here. I still don't understand it but he's a nice guy, military vet with kids etc IIRC. I suspect that some people have some sort of brain chemistry that we don't yet understand and the rest do it for attention or whatever

yeah, i get that... but trans people have been using their public restrooms, of the sex they identify with forever... the likelihood of you, your wife, you, anyone in this thread, etc, having shared a bathroom with a transperson, at some point in life, is high...
So that makes it ok?
Stop trying to forcefeed everyone.
Your opinion that men should use the womens bathroom does not supercede my opinion that they should not.
Science is on my side.
Mental illness is on yours.
You want to run around and play dress up and pretend to be a woman? Knock yourself out. Just dont expect me to play along with the charade. And stay away from my minor children.
Next AP school board meeting will be interesting since they have been allowing this adult man into the woman's restroom for years without parents being aware....

Crazy how “she” doesn’t have clothing figured out, but apparently she has enough life experience to undergo a gender transition.
I mean, I’ve known since I was six years old, so I had plenty of time and I would imagine she did also. The majority of transpeople I know my age had the same experience.
:/

what am i forcefeeding, dipshit? i asked a question... they have to go to the bathroom somewhere... you want them in your bathroom, i get it... personally, i'd be more comfortable with the dude that looks and dresses like a woman in the woman's restroom...

shite, at schools here in Ascension, adults cannot use the kids restrooms, at all... i went to eat lunch with my kids one time, and i went to the only men's room i saw, and some teacher ran in there after me saying i had to use the staff restroom... i apologized for not knowing, but yeah it was very disconcerting to have the little teacher running in while i'm about to piss, but i had no idea...

Well, it is about a trans homecoming queen in conservative, suburban South LA

Does the Corvette think it’s a Trans Am as well?

You liked things that society associates with girls/women since you were 6. That’s fine. I don’t think it’s a big arse deal if a male likes the color pink or dolls, instead of trucks and dinosaurs. I suppose I would have mixed feelings about that as a father, but I don’t think gender roles need to be as rigid as traditional society dictates. I’m personally willing to be quite tolerant on that issue, and I have always been supportive of LGB issues.
That doesn’t make you literally a woman. That part is your own delusion, and I don’t understand how the political left has switched from “gender roles don’t matter” to “gender roles must be affirmed by experimental, extremely consequential surgical procedures.”

That’s partially correct, but I knew something was off physically with me from a very early age. It wasn’t just clothes, or dolls, or whatever, but the nagging reality that my body wasn’t supposed to be like this and that I knew I was in the wrong body. That’s very different from steering away from traditional gender roles. My Mom and Dad didn’t want a “gay child” in the late 80’s and 90’s (their words), so I sucked it up and did all the typical sports things.
I don’t call myself female, and I say transwoman. Like I’m fully aware I’m biologically male. I’m not sure why so many folks think that I’m denying that.

fun fact, the colors we associate with the sexes today (blue for a boy, pink for a girl), was actually reversed up until around the 40's...

It would be interesting to get to the root cause of what causes this. It may be one of those conditions that may never be known as to the cause. I don’t understand it either, and it’s weird to me.

Are we still going to pretend there’s an abundance of “trans hate” now that a majority of his peers voted him on the court in scary old “conservative south Louisiana”?
I’m sure we will, considering how America is even more racist than ever after the majority white folks elected a black president.

Not trans. Just a psycho.
That's why Johns Hopkins turned him down for a sex change.

have you read this thread?
look, i think the word "hate" may be a strong to describe it, i think it's more intolerance, and i do think it's very much a generational thing, with older people much more intolerant and set in their beliefs...
but that intolerance, as noted by this thread, is very alive and well...

more racist? nah...
still racist? yeah...
and that racism is well represented by ALL colors, nationalities, ethnicities, etc...
