There are also plenty of instances where a dog takes the life of their loving owner and take the life of family members.

Are you under the impression that humans don't do this as well?

Dog bites send over 10,000 people to the hospital each year.

We send far more people to the hospital injured by other humans every year too

Pets are not humans. Don’t compare the two because you can’t.

I've never had a problem having someone come check on the pets while gone.

Covid pup and we were both working from home. He chewed part of a flip flop one time and never did it again.

We did give him plenty of things he was allowed to chew on.

Correct

Pets and humans are all animals. Different types of animals are compared all of the time; there are all kinds of things we can compare between humans and dogs.

You are giving it human traits.

It’s called FURniture. I’d never see you as a viable life form if you don’t love dogs.

How abusive. Get a vasectomy while you’re at it. Thanks.

I regretted one puppy. She was an absolute terror as a puppy. I nearly gave up. She's now the best dog I have ever had. Sheds too much, but thats my fault in dog choice.

You are giving human traits, love, to a dog which is an animal. Dogs are not human and can not be compared to humans and to do so is idiotic. A dog is just a pet for you or your family.

My dogs are more important to me than your kids. So, definitely no comparison there.

Having had to put down my 6 year old French bulldog on Monday I don’t regret one day that I had him in my life. Sure he was a pill at times but the laughter and joy he brought to our family was worth missing out on other events. Can’t wait to get another in a few years… dogs truly are the best.
