(Get off my lawn post)

We rode our bikes to that area growing up to swim in an old quarry. It was farmland with no city around. Frisco was a water tower and general store with a few scattered ranchettes.

Now it's Texas' version of Orange County.

The largest building in the world is the Boeing plant in WA.

There are buildings in the US alone that are larger than the Boeing building.

And it takes 20 mins to drive from one side to the other in a golf cart. And it's not even 100 acres.

Must be a long linear building if a GC can't cover it in 20 minutes

That's a mistake. The entire site might be 100 acres. And there might be 11 restaurants. But there aren't 100 acres of restaurants. That would be over 4 million sq ft of dining.

Commas man. They don't teach writin' at Ole Miss no more?

The Boeing facility alone in Everett, Wa has 2 buildings that are the #1 and #3 largest buildings (based on volume) in the world.

You're probably right, but don't forget this is in Texas, everything is bigger there. Have you ever been to Buc-ee's, thats a freaking yuge gas station?

Looks like Lumbergh is already asking about TPS reports and "Ahh, I'm also gonna need you to go ahead and come in on Sunday, too..."

Toyota moving to Plano is awesome but do they have to move every company headquarters to the same damn intersection? Toyota, Liberty Mutual, JP Morgan Chase, Boeing Global Services Division, FedEx.... Traffic is going to be even more insane than it already is.

No shite! I pass by there everyday and know that before long, I will have to leave for work earlier because over 10K people will be working in a 2 square mile area. I heard a news report last week where an advisory committee of city leaders and company personnel will meet to discuss what can be done about the traffic situation - like staggered work starting times. They have not improved the infrastructure around there and the Legacy Drive/121 interchange was horrible before Toyota broke ground three years ago.
