No doubt that’s part of it. What gets me is how these loser politicians and career bureaucrats go out there and tout the science behind their decisions and in the same breath call out businesses and citizens as also the reason of their petty policies.

I don't think some of you realize how much of a religion mask wearing and lockdowns have become to the progressive left.
They're freaking zealots over this shite.
Hell I have a friend who owns a restaurant that may not make it, and he's on of the most rabid lockdown and mask proponents I know. The policies are going to ruin his entire life's dream, yet he is as hardcore of a Masked Covidian as you'll ever find.

I understand bar probably weren’t prepping for a real Mardi Gras but they still have to order inventory weeks in advance. Liquor is whatever, it can be stored but beer has a date that distributors have to take back. The BMC beers are pretty serious about keep fresh product on the shelves.

Anyway.
