That's roughly 400 tons of beards and over 30 million gallons of gluten free pumpkin spice lattes.

Just reaffirms the notion that one should not make special trips to NOLA.

I was actually in the FQ Thursday night after the U2 concert.
I was also down there Saturday night and Sunday for the Saints game.
Can't believe I made it home alive.

To find a baseball bat?
Would it have been wrong to stop this fellow and question him if a cop had seen him walking through the Quarter with his bat because, hey, he could have been on his way to a midnight sandlot game?

The French quarter needs it's own private security force to patrol the area
Tourism is the lifeblood of this city. It is pure negligence that there is not a more concentrated effort to establish a private security force paid for by taxes from tourist dollars and have someone on every fing corner and street to avoid this. Either this, or attach an A/R to surveillance cameras and when a robbery or other violent crime is identified, the rifle is triggered with laser focus accuracy to mow down the scumbag cold blood.

It has this.
Granted it is managed by NOPD, so it is failing again.

Sunday for the Saints game.
tbh, that had to have been one of the crowded home saints game ive ever seen
NE fans brought it, which was surprising to me, considering the tourist attack of the boston guy earlier this year

There were a lot of NE fans but being the first home games of the season the saints fans were out in full force as well.
That's the last time you'll see that this year.

That's not going to stop trashy NFL fans from coming to New Orleans.

I've lived in 3rd World West Africa countries for a total 10 years and have never been physically attacked. The occasional shake down from the police is a hassle.
Get your shite together Louisiana.

Pats fans are obnoxious, but they aren't any more or less trashy than your average NFL fanbase.
Which is to say they're pretty fricking trashy.
