Apparently hasn't occurred to many that lowering the jury threshold means way more jury trials -means way more jurors needed.
Have fun, thank you for your service, and your $12.99 a day check is in the mail!

I'll get in the box if it means these scumbag lawyers get less money from mass litigation.

Or, it could mean less frivolous law suits

Yes, more people will have to serve on juries.
Yes, it will be harder for people who are genuinely hurt to get compensated fairly by insurance companies.
No one cares. We are here because 90% of PI lawsuits are frivolous garbage courtesy of the plaintiff's bar.

How are you connected to the system to be able to make such a statement?

I'm a defense lawyer and see ridiculous low impact soft tissue cases treated by shady chiros all the time.

Good morning, counselor...

I'd sit on a jury every day if it stopped bloodsucking ambulance chaser pieces of shite from keeping the insurance rates high because every fender bender apparently causes whiplash and mental anguish. frick off.

Sounds like you need to do better at your job.

We had some white trash guy sue our insurance company for a tap at a red light. He was in a big 3/4 ton truck. Wife was in an Accord.
It didn't even do enough damage to the Accord to bother getting it fixed. Literally tapped the guy going like 2mph. He got like 22k.

Great argument. Take your shitty SULC degree and file some more claims for whiplash and emotional distress.

Well see how you react when you are called twice a year to hear $7,500.00 cases

We all know that LA is an outlier when it comes to their rules/Regs on these lawsuits throughout the country. Now obviously we all know that LA isn’t setting the gold standard in anything, unless your goal is highest insurance rates in the country. Now why would anyone oppose LA just implementing the same rules as the vast majority of states? Why wouldn’t we benefit if we just accepted Texas’ rules on these lawsuits?
