Wow. That looks like a tropical system, convection-wise.

Do you have a wider shot of that? I'd like to see the Western gulf included.

That fanning of clouds and associated storms across S. Texas is the incoming energy that should get the storms across Louisiana moving east again at some point tonight.

I usually love a good thunderstorm while I'm sleeping, helps me sleep, but not this kind of stuff. Holy crap.

Cell headed toward Ruston is interesting, although I've got no clue if the circumstances are still prime for tornado development in that area now that the line has passed.

That moisture brewing down at Brwonsville/Corpus is pretty cool. I guess it's going to be a long night.

I'm in the BR area.

Got to get moving for work at 4:30.

Is it gonna be bad for me?

Rain or not, if you're going to work at 4:30, it's bad.

I'm usually up 1/2 the night so it wouldn't bother me, will probably sleep thru tonight.

Well I have to get my kids where they need to go before I can make money to support my family.
We can't all work bankers hours.

We could go there now and I wouldn't have to get them out in the storm.

Would that be a better idea or is it not going to be too bad?
