I believe this 100%. People can say what they want about Twitter, but it is absolutely the best way to get information out during natural disasters. Make an account, follow only official or reliable accounts, and use it as a tool. It is invaluable.

Agree with all of this.

All right, now that this is over with can we get on with the Siberian Express talk?

TWC is still showing snow showers on Christmas Eve continuing into Christmas day before mixing with rain.

They've had wintry weather in the forecast pretty much all day today.

I'm thankful that this doesn't appear to be a warm nose situation. We'll either get rain, snow, or nothing. I'm sick of this freezing rain stuff we've had in recent years.

Thanks for the response. I understand that many areas received bad weather today but I am ready for the cold.

The cold is still definitely coming. Even seeing a bit of a +PNA (im, for once in winter, happy to see it. frick -30s) showing up about the time to drop the cold down.

The PNA (getting a ridge vs trough in the west) was the last piece to make it an ideal look for cold.

By next week, itll be time to start looking for hints of storms into this prolonged deep cold spell coming east of the Rockies.

This is a hell of a video, and a view we don't often get of SE tornadoes.

Thank you. I still get excited about a good cold front in South Louisiana. I'm 61 and I like it to be cold this time of year. We get more than enough of sweating heat the rest of the year.

Maybe it's just me, but if some bad shite is happening, I would prefer my wife and kids be with me, and we face it together. If I'm separated from my family in a bad situation, I'm worried about them and vice versa. You do you though.

Schools are far more densely populated than an equally sized square footage section of a neighborhood.

Once the FOs do their damage surveys and give a time for each tornado I like going back and grading my posts based lead time for the tornado or properly identify it when it was on the ground. It’s a good way to keep getting better.

The point is this dudes panties are so wadded up and he’s busting a but over a school sustaining some damage to revenge an idiotic argument with another idiot.
