yes they are. 100k isn't that much for a household income and definitely won't support 10k tuition per kid.

It should really be rich and educated people put an emphasis on education. People follow trends, if your parents/grandparents/etc went to college you're more than likely to go to college.

It should probably be address why our black and minority students aren't meeting these quotas and how we can get their performance levels up to receive funding.

It starts with the minority community putting an emphasis on education

High school tuition is a lot more expensive now than it was for me.

So you don't have any knowledge on it then? Just a biased opinion about where you think "rich" people send their kids. Because Zachary, Livingston, Central and Ascension are nothing but poor people.

$100K is more than enough in a household, but there would have to be some sacrifices. Like owning vehicles within the household's means, paying them off and keeping them after the notes are paid...living in a smaller house, maybe 1800 SF instead of 2800 SF. It can be done, and somewhat comfortably.

If the tops kids are white and wealthier, they are probably getting a better secondary education in the private school system. So that's not shocking, as we know of the disparities that exist in louisianas public schooling system

As usual, blame it on someone else. God forbid fricking minority parents step the frick up and just be decent human beings to/for their kids.

Was I blaming whites for getting a better education? Some of you guys need to learn the difference between an excuse and a reason.

How in the world is that blaming someone.

Because schools and curriculums are unfairly geared toward Caucasians.

Would love to see your link on that info. I went to public school and my kids went/go to public schools.

Did I say it was?

Louisiana has some of the worst public schools systems in the country, and this comes from a guy that went k-grad in private schools

Who am I blaming?
