That's the confusing part. And you're right about that in NO and BR. Most families are middle class families that sacrifice a lot to give their children a better education.

I guess you have BRHS and Mckinley's magnet program if your kid is lucky enough or smart enough to get in 9th grade..outside that you're screwed.

Dude that is 35k a parent. That is under 15$/hr after taxes. No way 90% of people making that are putting their kids through private school

All they have to do is move 7 miles south or 7 miles east and they can have a great public school education and still live very close to the "city".

Well you also picked the lowest end of our range. We didnt say 90% of people making 70k go to private school. We said 90% making 70-100k do

Had tons of kids at Catholic who had single moms as teachers

And where I went to private school the teachers kids got to go there for free. Kinda tips the scale doesnt it?

I can speak with authority on this topic and that I've only known the direct opposite of this.
