I knew one girl named “Squaw”. She had the name tattooed on her forearm. She used to drink at Charlie Fitch’s beer joint in Dulac. She would also frequent the Dulacdat and Uncle Boys. Only the finer establishments in Dulac.

The problem with his argument is that society has already determined he is wrong.
Squaw is used in benign context all the time. Like for example, at school summer camps.
Find me a summer camp with the other word as the name of one of the groups.
He can't just decide this and that's the end of it. And trying to, while spelling out the word, is him just trying to be edgy. He's not even "starting a conversation" as his woke brtheren say. I'd even say Redskin is worse than squaw, and we know that isn't going anywhere.
