BTW, that wasn't a dig at Lafayette. I do reserve the right to ridicule ULL and Lafayette mercilessly in the event that they play Tulane in a football game and the refs give ULL the game.

Claiborne is a heavily trafficked route. Walking distance to Marigny and Bywater. Broad daylight. DWI

Texas sucks, every bit of it. I have to drive through that dump this weekend and I'm not looking forward to it at all.

Probably have to work in Corpus next week as well. Ugh.

This is a legitimate criticism of Austin and there is no "end" in sight.

I like dallas, don't prefer it, but it's overlooked.

What I really enjoy is some woodford reserve.

when I waited tables during college (FQ) More often than not, visitors would ask me a question about something they've seen or noticed in a bewildered tone, then I'd answer and assure them that is normal, then they would take the opportunity to shite talk the bejesus out of the city about multiple issues they'd witnessed, experienced. I will admit this was more typical of the tourists from neighboring southeastern states. Europeans usually had a sour taste about it. Everyone else raved about the world famous cuisine and restaurants such as Pierre Masperos, pere antoines, and on and on and on....

Dallas is one of my favorite cities so that isn't a slight at Austin. Though, I haven't been to Austin since pat Green and cross Canadian ragweed were breaking out. Good times @ Stubbs.

Dallas just fits my personality better if that makes sense.

If you took those cowboy tickets out and replaced it with a wad of cash, I'd highly recommend Lexington, maybe Louisville.
