The news mentioned something about trump ralllies being a security nightmare. But a guy on the roof at less than 200 yds is insane. And luckily a very poor shot. He was about 1.5” from being every liberals hero

I'd be suspicious of the narrative. But we've seen plenty of incidents that seemed like they'd be ideologically motivated but ultimately weren't - Giffords is one. Of course, Giffords was non-ideological and portrayed as partisan, so it's quite possible we'd see the inverse here.
