The Rhodes suede are the most comfortable, Frye's are challenging to break-in.

I got some Thursday Diplomats and enjoy them. I have weird feet so I can't exactly walk 2 miles in them, but that's not unusual.

Yup. For the first month I'd have to take them off every hour or so. Now, my feet feel like they belong in them.

Speaking of boots, anyone have experience with Origin boots?
Sounds like a great company putting out great American made products with heart and soul in them.

It depends on what you're wearing them for. For Rucking/hiking, Goruck.com MAC-V is the shite. I've worn many mil boots, but the sole feels like I'm walking on pillows. It's almost a little disarming that the "ride" is the way it is, but I can't imagine a person on the planet that would complain. I wear their sneakers every day, unless deadlifting/squatting (Converse, obviously.)

Not with the boots, but the Delta 68 jeans (now called Delta Flex, apparently), are *the best* jeans I've ever owned. I will never buy another brand again. Most comfortable, make my arse look good to chicks. Good to go.

Pair of Cartwright's for random crap (dinners, some nights out, sometimes to work)
Classic old school Timberland Euro hiking boots for every day wear during the winter mostly
Moab 3's for camping, hiking, etc.
K2 BFC 100 for skiing
yep....that's all my boots.

Go check out Rose Anvil on YouTube. He cuts a bunch of different boots in half to rate them and such. He seems to think they're worth the money.
