Reading these tales of woe really make me grateful for my wife. Going to give her a back rub and some deep dickin when she gets home later.

you're in my prayers brother. As others have mentioned, leave the bottle alone as it will only make matters worse for you.

I feel bad for OP; however, I hope against hope he doesn't fall into the trap of blaming his ex for everything and not doing some self inspection. Cheating is not, and should not be tolerated. She did break the relationship, and deserves to be divorced. That being said, the things you posted about your drinking and overall mindset are not the best that you can be. I'll be harsh for a second, but you're about to hit the open market. Nobody wants the shitty, ragged out Taurus. They want the old school muscle car that's well maintained. Use this as fuel to improve your life. You didn't ask to get cheated on, but you owe it yourself to claim responsibility of your life and kick it's arse.

My wife was so hungover she missed my LSU graduation. Not because she’s an alcoholic but because she tried to stay up and keep up with my friends and I. Innocent enough reason but the result is the same.
I hate wifes like this

How many in here have been through a divorce?
Been there, and it was really rough. It will get slowly better. Yes, I faced the 3 headed monster from my divorce: trauma, insomnia, and depression.

A real bombshell would be it’s Randy savage that slept with her or she shows up in here and starts to post

My divorce was the best thing that ever happened to me. Hopefully you are blessed with the same.
Many times people turn to drinking because their marriage, relationship, job, etc. etc. sucks. Divorce opened up a whole new world full of opportunities and I went from a dark world of nagging, biatching, cheating to sunshine.

Kinda shitty. What if she’s pregnant with OP’s child?

I was wondering if this was the backside of the thread from a week or so ago. When OP went home and confessed all to a relationship that was supposedly not sexual!!

Life is crumbling around me what should I do? Oh the OT! I forgot, they know everything. But seriously try to hang in there. Depression is a tough thing to deal with.

jsut chiming in on this thread because even though I'm not currently going through a divorce, i'm in a messed up marriage that i'm hanging with for my kids. the last month or so has been acutely difficult, even more than usual. i havent been sleeping well, and i'm really stressed out. i've curtailed my drinking severely during this last month and it really helps alot with my mental health. i'm not going fully cold turkey because i dont have a "drinking problem" per se, in the traditional sense. i had a couple beers on friday with a friend, and i drank a couple on the 4th. not drinking really helps all around when you are in a bad spot mentally. even on the nights i cant sleep, at least i dont have the midnight insomnia headache and the nextday hangover to deal with.
i will add with the decrease of alcohol, my caffeine and nicotine (smokeless) has gone up. but one alligator at a time, as it were.

Sounds like your wife was “cheating” with that Alabama fan who broke the news on vacation
2 things here:
1. RandySavage is a lot of things. A premature ejaculator. A man immensely frustrated with his small stature. A piss poor parallel parker. A shitty father. A GED achiever. And more, I'm sure.
But he is not an Alabama fan.
2. I felt sorry for TexasTiger08 3-plus weeks ago when he posted his recent tribulations. And then again with the update.
But that was over 12 hours ago. Before he left us with that POS cliffhanger all day.
Now, I'm on her side.

Yep. Lies, deceit, and a complete lack of remorse from her.

Divorce is brutal when it's not your idea. Prayer and family.
