Bunch of fricking losers. Every single one of them looks like they should be a career waiter or waitress who got lucky and slept with the right person in Hollywood en route to getting paid a ton of money to exist and push the narrative. I really wish society would start shunning these gross rejects

Last year's gala was reported to have raised 14 million dollars for the Met Museum. There's no way most of these creatures would donate that kind of money in that quantity to the museum.

The Met has some interesting exhibits and the books they publish to accompany the exhibits are a way that history persists for some of us who wouldn't visit NYC for a large number of reasons.

Downside: the money they make designing and fabricating the costumes keep some of the artsy-fartsy types from getting productive jobs grounded in reality.

He goes big every year, for better or worse.

Anyway, speaking of every year, I always enjoy the annual OT thread bitching about the Met Gala. Though I think this is the first year that satanic/demonic symbolism accusations have made an appearance. But I could just be misremembering

I don't "watch" this thing, but perhaps you could elaborate on the satanic aspects of this for us. I don't see it.

Interesting. I wasnt there, never heard about. Also don’t watch the news. Prob not my cup of tea. Main reason I didn’t know about it I guess.

Hey, that night I was actually hanging out with my wife and some friends. We grilled some steaks, played some yard games. Had a really good time. Politics or what people I’ve never met and what they were doing never really came up. Hmmmm.

To each their own I guess. You seem in a really bad mood or wanting to make fun of something that shouldn’t really have an effect on you.
