You just dont appreciate the architecture that looks like Southern Rhodesia in 1975

I mean look at this. The culture alone is worth it.

There were fewer casualties in some battles in Iraq as there are in New Orleans on a weekend.

It’s really amazing to be alive right now. I’ve decided instead of being depressed about our reality the last 3 years I’m just going to watch it with a sort of sick fascination. It’s much more exciting that way. It’s more entertaining than moves and TV. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I just had the joy of sitting on I-10 for the past hour because of it. On my way back to uptown from a mediocre dinner at the lakefront.

The interstate shooting tonight happened on the interstate just outside of New Orleans country club….. as I understand it, the powers that be from the club have already gotten the FBI and homeland security out on the scene….. supposedly there ARE cameras at that stretch of interstate AND license plate readers on the interstate somewhere between The Jefferson Parish line And the shooting scene

From: June 3, 2022 (not tonight)

WWL

quote:

The shooting happened Tuesday morning, on I-10 westbound, while he was on his way to work. He says between Read and Crowder Boulevards in New Orleans East two trucks with no license plates got behind him. One then pulled in front of him.

“He tried to slow me down to exactly 10 miles an hour,” said the man.

That’s when he says the other truck pulled up to his passenger side.

“I looked at him. Soon as I look at him, he opens fire on me,” said the man.

At least three bullets hit his van, one of them going through his mask hanging from his steering wheel. His left hand is still wounded from the fragments and shattering glass.

“When he started shooting at me, I just moved my head all the way back to the seat to protect myself,” said the man.

Protection also meant grabbing his own gun which he never fired, but says saved his life.

“When he saw me with a gun in my hand, they just drove. They drove fast. They got away from me,” said the man. “To me, I feel like it’s a carjacking or something like that.”

Going to be hard to identify the thugs involved in this.

I practically beg people not to go to New Orleans. It’s not the same even if you’re not the victim of a crime. The care free fun days bar hopping all over the city are gone. Destroyed. Just like everything else.

My wife got pissed at me about me refusing to go there so I started sending her every single thread like this. She doesn't talk about going anymore.

Tee Du Savon will cleanse the city of these animals.

Every other city has cams on their interstates. New Orleans didn't but I am sure they installed them when it became apparent this was a problem. Any idiot would have cameras by now, right?
