Topgolf, Dave and busters, and the resurgent comedy and broadway show scene will provide a lot of entertainment options for the tourists and traveling businesspeople staying downtown that don't wanna do Bourbon Street.

Happy to hear this but that location is not very easy to get to at all. Wonder how they're gonna work that out
what is hard to get to about getting off of I-10 at Howard and driving straight for 4 blocks?

The original Houston location on 10 is in Houston. It has a Houston address.
honestly man this means little. The outskirts of Houston is like me having to drive to Slidell.... N

While this is true, top golf is about a 20-25 minute ride from downtown. It isn't that far. Having one in East downtown though would be awesome

Needs to be along I-10, but in Slidell. Put it out by the Harbor Center near Oak Harbor.

What you running from bruh and why would you run through the projects when there are miles of much safer routes throughout the city?

I was thinking the same thing looking at the location. The whites will call it Top Golf, the thugs will call it Top Laptop.

They should turn the driving range on Siegen in BR into a Top Golf.

They won't. I feel like this is another one of those situations where the city would rather have a dilapidated building sit there than have anything new built.

The property has already been purchased by the investment firm and terms have already been agreed upon with TopGolf. Barring a last minute snag, this is happening.

I would think Top Golf and D&B would be the last thing a tourist should to in New Orleans. It's fine to skip Bourbon Street, but maybe go find some live music, or eat at a local acclaimed restaurant. Why travel there if you're going to the same national chains you can find in other cities?

Have they gotten approval from the City Council, though? A huge structure like TopGolf will need to go through City Planning Committees and then City Council.

This is true. A lot of corrupt palms will have to be greased before this thing gets going.

And what if you aren't coming from I-10 E? That place is surrounded by I-10, Broad overpass, and railroads.
