There's absolutely nothing wrong with a long-sleeve button up shirt with shorts.

As long as you're going very casual, there's also nothing wrong with flip flops with jeans either.

Almost all my jeans are heavy starched at the cleaners with creases down the front. Hell, most are faded in the crease. All my long sleeve shirts are starched the same way.

Sorry you got no style.

I'm also in the same boat as the cowboy boots dude. It looks pretty fvcking idiotic seeing people wear them to work and professional settings. Even if you are a cowboy (which 99% of you aren't) you still shouldn't be wearing them to work.

Lol I keep it interesting man, I use to wear a tie everyday to work so the same everyday got boring so I learned a lot of different ways. Eldredge, Windsor, and Ellie are all really cool knots. Eldredge is a beast but when you get it right, it's pretty sweet. Lots of compliments on it. Added bonus: makes you take more time getting dressed and less waiting on your woman. At least for me anyway.

They're cowboy boots, dumbass.

Cowboy boots are only acceptable on kids under the age of 8, and when worn on Halloween.

You must have terrible taste if you honestly believe that about cowboy boots. I have seen more pair of great looking boots that went well with a suit than not. You can personally not like them, but doesn't mean they're not great to finish a look.

shite a good pair of boots $600+ will last the rest of your life, and look great if you keep them properly.

I don't wear khakis. The fact that you do is bad enough, but I'm willing to let it slide. The fact that you're fighting so adamantly about black shoes with khakis speaks volumes. And not in a good way.

Not fighting about it just think it's comical you call it a "top 3 fashion faux pas." Tells me you are clueless.

Wear what you want.

Just don't be surprised when people can't take you seriously as a man, because you are too busy playing Cowboys and injuns to make yourself presentable.

The most successful people I know have the best cowboy boots I've seen. So I'll just keep paying attention to more than a dozen business savy millionaires that wear cowboy boots, rather than a flawed opinion of an idiot on the OT. Thanks, and have a great day.

Actually, I'm kind of in to men's fashion, and it has been part of my career, so I'm hardly clueless. Also, I never called it a top 3 faux pas. I just said it looked hideous.

Look. You lost the argument. Go back to your townhouse with a jumbo mortgage. You have a coffee breathed boss ready to whip you into shape tomorrow morning at your meeting to talk about year end numbers.

Ok fashion aficionado. Are you saying burberry's color scheme looks hideous considering it has khaki and black together? Do you work for tommy Bahama or something?

Yes. Burberry makes a wide array of quality attire. However, their signature plaid is loud and tacky and is an easy way to spot rubes.

We are talking about if khaki and black go together not the merits of Burberry in general. I get your point but the reality is the colors do go together as long as they are worn the right way with the right clothes. Try to keep up.
