I would think Baton Rouge would be better for this type of thing but living in NOLA I'm not opposed

I think they are saying they are "looking into it", in the sense that they are looking at most cities in the country. I would be beyond shocked if we got one anytime soon. The perfect spot for it would be near the river right past the Convention Center but this shite ain't happening.

I'm sure they will expand into California more.

Put it at the old power plant location, but I'm sure the land is too expensive.

Would def be a regular. Hard to say if BR would be better. But a smaller version would go over very well down here , can't imagine a full size 3 deck facility staying busy enough to be profitable

I would think a major issue would be that the places it would thrive the land is going to cost too much to rent/buy.

And the places they could afford no one would want to go visit.

I'm all for a top golf in new Orleans proper. But, I'm not driving to the westbank or St Rose for it.

Doubt thats really an issue. Top Golfs dominate the monthly/quarterly/annual lists for highest gross alcohol sales

The tax revenue off booze alone is reason enough for any municipality to push this through

I'm just thinking about the places where there would be enough land and people would actually go to it. The only spot I can think of is near the convention center. Also that abandoned Federal Building in the Bywater but that doesn't seem feasible.

New Orleans East, Kenner, Westbank...that just wouldn't work IMO. Needs to be relatively close to NOLA nightlife. The other option would obviously be the Northshore.

At least we wouldn't have to worry about culture at this.

Baton Rouge probably has more locals that would go to a Top Golf but New Orleans has more tourists that would support it. Honestly I dont think either are a great spot for Top Golf

It could go in front of MG world, there's plenty of room though. If they make the right bribes, they can get the land for cheap.

Baton Rouge does not have the population or the tourism for a Top Golf.

New Orleans does.
