4. If you insist on the BR or surrounding areas....why not Juban?

I thought the same thing. LP has over 100k people now and it would draw from Hammond as well.

probably has more to do with the dysfunctional and corrupt leadership of the city

There was a story on nola.com a few years back that explained why a lot of these fortune 500 corporations are passing on NOLA. A bunch of them stated that the city demanded too many kickbacks from the companies to allow them to come into New Orleans. And that doesn't surprise me much at all.

Lots of businesses are wary about LA period due to the fricked up operating environment here.

IIRC, a lot of restaurants trying to start up end up staying dormant for a while because they need to wait on the state or local agencies to get off their fricking asses and approve everything.

Top golf is doing well because its new. Give it a couple years when the newness wears down and their revenues will go down. By the time this new place is built, demand will not be there and one will close.

I've never waited more than 15 minutes for a bay at top golf. I guess we mostly reserve one ahead of time though so it may be that.

This brings up a frustrating aspect of top golf, the reservations are meaningless. You can make one in advance and still be stuck waiting.

I’ve been to Top Golf once. Had a good time, but I did have to wait about 40 minutes for a bay despite making a reservation.

Top golf has a two hour wait?????? That’s crazy.... I’d rather just go play 18 holes on my own.... BTW I really don’t shoot for score, I just like being outdoors and hitting 6-7 good shots.

3. Those apartments next door are crime infested

I wouldn't call them crime infested, the majority of them are working Hispanics. The crime in that area almost all comes from the New Orleans street named area on Perkins
