No just you, if you think the frat stars would spend more at one in BR than bachelor parties would in Nola. So just you figured out as a clown, not everyone.

Like anything else in NOLA, it's not far from a ghetto area. But the area would be fine for that type of usage. Restaurant Depot and Home Depot are in that area. A new building just went up next to it. Getting in would be easy as you just get off the Howard exit and stay on the service road. Getting out would be a little trickier but you could still get on Earhart towards downtown and get on I-10 from there in either direction.
As far as the length of the driving range, if they let you launch golf balls across I-10 and ping them off the side of the Parish Jail building, I am all in.

Meh. it's an excellent place to take up time and drink during the day. We will be in Vegas for a bachelor party in March and Top Golf is definitely on the agenda- and hookers/blow of course.

The vegas one has a sick view and is right in the heart of it all.

Why? It is an extremely small market.

They are building one in El Paso.

You ever been to El Paso? I have, many times. It is a much smaller metro area than NOLA, doesn't have any tourists whatsoever, and is generally boring as frick. Big military presence and Wells Fargo but that is about it.

Yeah we were there in December and made it there twice. Had a great time. Hell even the wives had a good time while we were there.

If you go a lot, get the platinum membership. Like $250 a month and you get a lane even when there's a long wait, discounts on food, free play during the day, $20 at night, upgraded clubs, etc.

I used to have it, but I quit going so much that it wasn't worth it anymore so I cancelled.

If the membership is $250 a month, then how much does it cost everytime you go?

Holy shite, there are actual legit PGA golf courses that are much less than that to join.

Anyway:

I seriously seriously doubt this is Top Golf, probably something much lamer and off brand.

Top Golf needs about 13 acres. That is about 9. They also would need easy road access, and they tend to build in much nicer neighborhoods than that. The reason why crime isn't showing up on the map is because that's all warehouses. You go like 4 blocks away in most directions and you are in some SERIOUS shite.

And the road access SUCKS there.

I have no idea where you would build a Top Golf in NOLA. I'm sure they would ideally like to be as close to the Convention Center as possible, or in Metry/Lakeview. There's just not a lot of land that makes sense.

The Smoke Stack near the convention center makes the most sense imo.

You pay by the hour and you can have up to 6 people in a stall.

The one in Vegas has different costs for day/night, and also the 3rd level is a little more expensive (no kids, has a pool)

I believe it was around $45-$55 an hour.

Top Golf should just work with the Convention Center to build on the land near it. That is the best and most reasonable option. Great location for them, and they have the land.

Seems like the could just use the convention center as a launching pad and we could hit into the river
