Been to Huntsville and El Paso. Have never even heard of the others, which isn’t a great start. But I’m sure they’re all thriving metropolises and I’m just misinformed.

Salado, TX just outside Austin.
Round Rock, TX a suburb of Austin

No I’m of the “if it’s not a large city in Texas it’s DEFINITELY shite and if it’s in Alabama then frick that” variety.

There are many, many amazing small towns and urban areas in this country.

Fresno in August was not fun, 110 degrees. Just because it’s a dry heat doesn’t mean it wasn’t freaking miserably hot

Jacksonville Beach (I was in my 20's and yeah I still dream about living a block from the ocean)
New Orleans (9 months 2 blocks off of Magazine/9 months in Metairie-Bucktown. loved it but I was in my mid 20's)
