Too many dog owners are in the annoying pain in the arse category

Just witnessed a woman call the cops because a restaurant with a ‘no dogs’ policy asked her to remove her ‘anxiety’ german shepherd from the premises.
I love my dog but screw these owners that think they can demand a business accept their dog because they have some BS internet paper for something like ‘anxiety’.

Agreed.
Those people are some of the worst in society.
Hope the cops arrest her.

Dogs cause me anxiety, seriously. Why should my needs be ignored?

Obviously not a Korean restaurant - they love to serve dogs.

She doesn't need to be arrested, but this sounds like a situation where she doesn't really need a service dog. The business should have full rights to not allow her animal.

It is a slap in the face to people who need real service animals.

Are dogs trained to be 'anxiety' dogs? Or is it a situation in which people, who have anxiety issues, decide on their own, to get a dog to help them with their issue?
There are meds available for anxiety. And if you can't go into a restaurant without having anxiety issues, then you might just have to adjust your lifestyle. If it's not a specially trained dog (like dogs for people who are blind) then you really can't be upset when the restaurant enforces their policy.
Also, if you have a special situation, why wouldn't you handle this ahead of time. Call the restaurant, tell them your situation and see what they say.

I hate the BS of the "emotional support animal" and how it is handled.
I have NO issues with actual trained dogs that serve a purpose such as to help a physically/visually impaired person, as a dog that senses diabetic issues, seizures, crippling angina and such.
BUT I also see nothing wrong with the dog having to be registered with a REAL agency that certifies and maintains standards that would be required to be available for management of business that are used.
The dog can get his official ID card and thus be granted those rights. All the info needed on a simple and visible card, (and something they should have anyway in case their owner is unconscious- the dog has all the info right there.
I suspect a great many "emotion support animals" would not even pass a simple obedience test of commands like sit, stay and no barking.
There should be mandatory classes/tests for emotional support dogs that they have to pass to prove their social skills, dealing with a variety of unexpected situations and such.
It should not be so easily available for idiots with more money than brains or decency to pay a small fee so their a-hole pet can bother others AND the dog get to ride free with the owner.
Utter BS indeed.

Lots of folks are allergic to dogs and cats. But we’ll continue to put the needs of the few ahead of the needs of the many in Bizarroworld 2018.

Yeah the support animal trend has gotten way out of control.

The best are these retard girls on college campuses that have 'emotional support' dogs. I saw one girl with a dog like that. She had the dog tow her around campus on her skate board.

Did she have a note from her doctor, and her dog’s vet?

Barking is the devil.
I walk around neighborhood and dogs go crazy. Yappy watch beasts.
I presume these are fearful.people who take up arms when barky notices human within 50 feet of house.
So glad my current neighbors are dogless in all directions.

It's just part of the growing cultural of entitlement. People are becoming socially detached and are losing sight how they fit in to society at large

If she truly had anxiety issues she would avoid situations that would cause anxiety.
Like making unreasonable demands of a restaurant and calling the police to reinforce her entitlement.
