Midnight supposed to be the peak.
Watching the Virtual Telescope Project live feed. If it gets crazy, I’ll go outside, but I’m not optimistic with all this city light.

Funny thing I walked out earlier and saw a massive meteorite that flamed out what looked like it did indeed hit the ground. Massive fireball relative to most I see. I was looking due east at the time, not related but I thought it was funny to see it while going outside to see the shower.

Where are we supposed to look? By the big dipper?
Yea best to basically lay down and look at the Big Dipper and they will be in your entire line of site. Most are running from south to north west ish

I’m watching a live feed with streams from six different telescopes around the world. This guy keeps saying that the peak window opened at midnight.
He also keeps saying that this is an all or nothing event.

Nothing spectacular in the past 15 minutes that I’ve been outside. I saw a handful in that time frame but nothing I’d call a shower like I’ve seen in the past.
I’ll try again between 1:00 - 2:00 if it’s supposed to peak again then I hear

Highlight of my night so far was the opossum that just walked down the sidewalk while I was sitting on my porch.

Just saw a really good one between the clouds looking west in Watson.
