Which way do we look?
If you are still in the LP look to the western skies 1:45 to 2:15 am.

The Tau Herculids will actually originate from the constellation Boötes, radiating from just above the star Arcturus, a ruddy orange-yellow entity that will be the brightest star in the sky of the Northern Hemisphere at that time. Locating Arcturus is easy if you can find the Big Dipper: Simply trace a line from the last two stars in the Dipper’s handle in a direction away from its bowl. The first bright star you see should be Arcturus.

It’s happening, wasn’t disappointed like I usually am. Saw about 10 in a span of 5 minutes! Stayed out till a few mosquitoes started buzzing. Will go back out around midnight.

I'm in Cape Coral, FL (Ft Myers area. South of Tampa, north of Naples.) Just took a look outside and didn't see anything obvious, but it's partly cloudy. I can see a few stars, but I have no clue as to which ones I'm seeing.
Should I check again in 45 minutes or so?

Gonna try and stay up. Got a lot of stuff going on. Meteor shower is a way to humble yourself and realize how small we are in the grand scheme of things. There are times to put the petty BS aside. Enjoy the show.

The hedging from NASA is concerning. A great show… or nothing at all.

We are at the beach in Destin and have seen probably a dozen in the last ten minutes

Two in two minutes in S BR. It’s happening!

In your area this will occur around 100 am. Look to the west, around the Big Dipper.

If I’m still up I’ll pop some contacts in and go see. Thanks for the reminder

My Ring camera caught a couple. Very beginning and end of the loop.

Thanks! I'm out here now, but nothing so far. Plenty of dock lights in this area. Hopefully they don't impede my view. The sky is clearing up.

What time is suppose to be the peak? We are averaging 3-4 per minute right now

Lightning Bug flew in my peripheral vision. Thought we were all dead.

Where are we supposed to look? By the big dipper?
