I think she might be numb and detached and is behaving how she thinks people think she should.
She's out of it.

Well, yea.

I admire her resolve but that poor woman needs faith and family right now, not cameras.

You know libs are already running to their echo chambers saying she is calling for retaliatory violence with the “you know what you need to do” line.

Tuned in and watched that woman speak with so much strength and courage, so poised and at same time with such peacefulness.

I am totally heart broken by this tragedy.

Exactly. She doesnt owe anyone anything right now. We can learn those things in due time.

Charlie Kirk had his priorities in correct order.

You don’t see that much any more. May he rest in peace.

Be careful of ad hominem attacks. It's a sign of a weak argument. I.e., if you downplay MLK's message with a "yeah but he was an adulterer" it's a sign you can't really argue against the merits of his civil justice work.

In a few years, she might not even remember it. And I don't blame her.

I thought it have a different tone but using the word "battlecry" proved me very wrong, very early in the speech.

She'll remember it. You don't forget words spoken for a lost loved one.

“Daddy’s on a work trip with Jesus” is gonna stick in my head for a long long time

As the father of a 3 year old little girl, this is the exact moment I lost it

Her speech was great. The definition of courage.

I teared up when she told her daughter ‘Daddy is on a business trip with Jesus.’

That voice break when she asks “how do you explain this to a three year old?”

Her husband was just murdered in cold blood by a left wing kid younger than the husband he murdered.

She's probably never had more clarity on that front in her life

That's not what I'm talking about. She hasn't processed the reality of it and the overwhelming pain.

No. They're going to burn down cities, loot, protest police, and of course burn American flags.

Ours turned 3 at the end of August. She's sleeping, but I just snuck into her room and gave her a kiss after watching that.
