Yep. Let's just move on from a day that has fully altered our foreign policy, our economy, and the way this country operates at the federal, state, and local levels. Oh...not to mention the fact that nearly 3,000 Americans were killed in those attacks.

I was a freshman at LSU sitting in geography 1001. Decided to drop out of college and enlist in the Army. Spent 12 years active duty and wouldn't have changed my decision for a minute. 3 deployments later and in the Reserves now I'm finally in my way to a degree in EE. I will never forget that moment when the professor asked if anyone had any loved ones in NY.

I'd have to agree.
Damn sure doesn't seem like that long ago. It's the only day in my life where it felt like time stood still for an entire day. I remember pretty much everything and everywhere I went that day. Crazy....

It means a lot to me. I worked in NYC for two years, left three months before 9/11, We used to frequent the trade center for lunch. So it hit me in an unique way when that occurred. I had friends out there that I was really worried about. Took forever to get hold of them.

It means a lot to me. It also leaves me very sad and disappointed because the US had 99% of the world's sympathy and support after that day. Then, through our foreign policy, we basically lost most of that support. It is a damn shame.
