Yeah, I should, which is why I've lived in Beijing, Dallas, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Birmingham, Fayetteville, McAllen, Midland, and a few other places. I feel very confident I'm more well traveled than you. Hong Kong is my personal favorite city, but it's a no brainer to anyone who has extensively traveled that New York is the greatest city in the world.

You really picked the wrong poster to say that to, since I've travelled pretty much full time for the past 6 years.

Well, thank you for all that you've done.

Did I read correctly that you were 13 when this happened?

It will always mean something to me. I was in DC. I remember looking at the sky that morning thinking it was the bluest of ever seen.

Me too. Interning on Capitol Hill. I. Had been there a week. Sureal day.

Lived on the Hill but stayed in Arlington that night and drove past Pentagon about 45 mins before.

It's was the bluest sky I've ever seen too. Creeps me out to see perfect weather this time of year.

A simple "I was wrong" should have sufficed.

Nothing to do with 911. Terrible and I was a freshman in college when it happened, but side note....you say anyone who says NYC isn't the greatest city in the world is in denial??? That's really relative to the person. Biggest media market maybe close, but as a city not my favorite in the world....kinda ignorant to say that.

Those are just places I have lived in for more than a month, many of them not being glamorous. I've traveled throughout Europe and Asia, but aside from Beijing, I haven't lived at these places for more than a month. Tell me Mr. Bourdain, where all have you traveled?

I watched it happen live too. Why are you trying to divert attention to my point on not understanding what really went on?

As I said, my favorite city is Hong Kong, but unbiasedly a city that represents literally everything that is great about humanity, it's New York. I mean come on, do you think NOLA represents anything even close to that city? Seriously, provide an alternative, and I'll consider it and either agree with you or tell you why I think you're wrong.

It fades with time unfortunately.

My instant cynical response:
What does 9/11 have to do with being offended, or Kim Kardashian, or being gay, or social justice, or any of the other inane things that dominate our society these days???

Baton Rouge is the greatest city, if you don't agree you're in denial.

Hot women, cajun food, football; what more do you want?

I still remember it and observe it

Every year on 9/11 I go back to where I was. I was in class at parkview baptist. So every year I wake up and go get a few boxes of donuts and go up to the school and sit in the classroom I was in when the planes hit. The same teacher I had then is still teaching so she doesn't mind if I do that. It's a day I'll never forget and unless I'm physically unable to move I'll keep doing my tradition.

Hot women over 25 and something not dependent on 7 days out of the year.

Cajun food is a pretty solid bonus I'll grant you.

The food and high percentage of african americans makes BR the best.

...unless you are a racist or something?

We produce the best music too.
