Maybe slightly true, but intelligent people can still argue their points. Unintelligent people cannot, because well, they don't have much intelligence.

What is “misogyny”?
These days, "misogyny", doesn't mean anything. You can be called a misogynist for simple disagreeing or holding a woman accountable for anything (which is hilarious because feminists claim to be for equality).

She doesn’t come across as being very nice.

The misogyny on here is pathetic and disgusting. I can’t imagine having someone talk about my daughter the disrespectful way people talk about women here.

Ok Karen.

Well, unfortunately I am back in the fray and let me tell you, trying to sift through both the Prog and MAGA girls to find someone who is even keel enough to want to see if they're worth the time isn't fun.

Remember now, even putting politics aside women can be a handful anyway. Add politics to the mix?

I don't really care about politics that much. I rarely even watch the news. But I certainly hold some views that wouldn't align well with a far left winger.

That just seems like a lot to overcome in 2020 with politics being shoved down our throats in every aspect of life.

I'm not getting bitched at for destroying the Earth because of my single use plastic usage or lax attitude towards firearms

I was at dinner with a girl a few months ago who was what you would call Right. Cute. I liked her and she was nice. Second date. She just had to bring up pro-life and internally I just cringed. Not because I'm not, I am. but she just started going on and on about it. Sooo... Sao here had to press her. I asked how she felt about gene manipulation in fetuses. Then Crispr. She had to ask what it was. So I explained and asked "you're a believer in Christ and God's plan, yes?" Of course she was...

So I asked, if you're pro-life and God's plan is to create a tiny human with an issue only for Man to intervene, where does that leave God's Plan and the idea of Everything Happens For A Reason?

No third date.

I don't really remember ever discussing politics with my wife either when we were dating. She's more conservative than I am though. I'm a bit of a libertarian leaning conservative. I just want to be left alone

i actually brought up politics early on with my now wife. this was back in the early 00's though. Mainly because my mom was the RNC chair for our county and my dad was active in republican politics. I didn't care that much, but i knew it would be an issue for them.

When she answered democrat, i was a bit nervous, but then realized she came from a blue dog democrat family that hadn't voted D for president since Carter.

My wife is way more conservative than I am, but we rarely talk politics. She hates politics.

She did say last night she was voting for Biden though. It will be the first time in her life she's voting for a Democrat, or so she says.

I won't argue that. I'm not a fan. Never heard her speak, actually. Just seen her pics posted here and other places. She could be a Rhodes Scholar or dumb as a stump for all I know.

I am. Hey, so much fun I don't like political discussion on dates. But if you open the can, eat the contents.

Politically, the entirety of Washington - Red and Blue - can eat a dick. At least I have the balls to admit it in any form or fashion. Just the way I'm built. Try it.

If she’s considering voting for Biden then she’s not really conservative

Ask her if she’s ok with the fact Biden raped a woman.

She's not considering, she's already made up her mind.

And I didn't say she was conservative, just way more conservative than I am. She hates politics and both political parties, but has always just voted republican when she's actually voted.

So you dunked on a nice, cute girl who you agreed with politically such that she didn't want to go out with you again?

This never happened. She probably never called you again because she thought you were a wuss. Conservative women are usually into more masculine men.

I know a few people who are pretty conservative. One in-particular. An older guy who has always been the type to talk politics especially around election time and tells everyone why it is important for them to vote for the republican candidate.

And I was shocked when I heard him say "I have no choice but to vote for whoever the Democrat candidate is".

He went on about how Trump isn't a real conservative and that his tax plan will end up causing people to pay more in the long run, etc, etc.

This was around Christmas, not sure he changed his mind, but for him to come out and say something like that, I doubt he has.
