Remember the Oprah couch incident? Basically when he "came out" to promote Scientology? Then went on a talk show and talked shite about Brooke Shields discussing her PPD and taking medicine for it? That was a push by David Miscavige to push Scientology to the masses and it was a huge failure and did INCREDIBLE damage to Tom Cruise in the public eye.
In order to rebuild his image, they hired Katie Holmes to marry him and have a few kids with him. The goal was to make him seem more normal and have the public forget the above. The rumor was they signed her to a 5-year contract to play as his wife. They divorced in year 6 and she basically took the kids and disassociated with Scientology and faced basically no backlash (which is extremely rare), which gives support to the claim.

I recently heard somebody on a podcast, b/c Cruise looks pretty good for being in his 60s- they were like ‘Does $cientology actually work ??’…. I dont think it does, i think it’s mostly genetics along with clean living/working out and some very subtle, excellent plastic surgery .

She is a smoke show. Has to be for publicity, Tom Cruise looks like an alien at this point with all the plastic surgery.
