What other old school cheap beers are associated with regional breweries? Lone Star--TX, Rolling Rock--PA?

I would not put Rolling Rock in that bunch. You can pretty much buy Rolling Rock at most stores and bars in the United States. Maybe it's just me, but I had no idea what state it was brewed in. Now lone star? Yes

Does Rheingold still exist? (There's a truck in The Godfather, the scene where Sonny beats up Carlo) I'm surprised some rich hipster doesn't buy the rights to brew it

Most of these are contract brewed these days and not really connected to their true old school brewery. Lone Star, Pabst, etc. all now fit this mold.

I applaud him for this but let's not forget that SOB tried to steal our Saints in the aftermath of the storm. I will never forgive him for that.
