Looks gay. Plus how can I fingerblast a girl sitting in the passenger seat if I'm busy trying to shift?

Not lost at all. The mechanical genius that went into the invention of the transmission is incredible. Over time, said invention became more sophisticated, and the need for user interference no longer exists. But there will always be people who are willing to be anachronistic in order to have a fraction more control over their endeavors. Hell, I have close friends who still write with fountain pens

Would it be a millennial anti theft device or a Gen Z anti theft device?

I came here to post that. Other option is 5th gear all the time on the highway.

I drove a stick a few weeks ago for the first time in 20 or so years. Just like riding a bike.

Aw, that's cute. You don't know the difference between pen types. Probably spent too much time worrying about transmissions

You don't... You get her to sit on your lap and do all the work while you drive like us real men used to do.

Learned to drive in a 3 speed stick. Nothing more exciting than to stop on an incline at a red light, and then proceed.

Nah, professionals who believe that the extra little bit of difficulty in the instrument increases the level of care they use to write, thus making their handwriting better.

Also, anyone who pines over using a manual transmission in their daily beater is basically the hipster of the automotive world.

I drive a stick for about 8 years while I lived in Louisiana. I got nervous every time I had to stop on a hill. It was not a common occurrence...
