Hey, always great to see you just flat out admit that you know nothing about police use of force.

I never made that claim.

I don’t find myself in confrontation with law officers or any federal agents, so I don’t have a ton of sympathy. I comply when a police officer gives me direction. I would suggest everyone else doing so as well, if they value their own safety.

Certainly wise and sage advice. Doesn’t mean the girl in the video or in my hypothetical “deserved” what they got. And based on your moving on from it, I think you agree with me, which makes me feel a bit better about your initial reply

Regardless of who was sprayed and their political affiliation, if the officer acted inappropriately, then I would expect him to reprimanded later on. That’s not really your call or mine.

Never claimed it was my call. Simply said, based on what was in the video, didn’t look justified to me, based on what I know, generally, about police use of force policies. If his employer believes he violated policy, they will discipline him. If he disagrees, I’m sure there’s a process to appeal the discipline. We’re all just giving opinions, some more educated than others, but opinions nevertheless. We’ll all probably never hear or talk about this incident after today.

Dude’s really ready to die on this hill over a 15-second clip.

I highly doubt she was some innocent bystander with a phone in her hand who got blasted without multiple multiple warnings.

This is why I stopped posting on the PT. I made one post. Multiple people respond to my post, some giving reasoned responses, most just being insulting, and yet I’m the “emotional” one “dying on hills” simply by replying to the people who have replied to me. Every one of my replies garners multiple replies, until I’m trying to respond to a shitposting circle jerk (with one or two reasonable posters mixed in).

shite’s just boring

Yep, and it’s been fricking boring, other than my brief back and forth with Klark. I’ll probably check back to see if he (or anyone else) says anything interesting, but outside of that the rest of you can just enjoy your circlejerk

She definitely should've complied. Everyone knows cops are fricking idiots, starting a confrontation with them is just asking for trouble.
