DROVE home blasted out of my mind. fricking tall boy in my dashboard cup holder.
So many levels of stupid. I will never win a lottery because all of my luck was spent not killing someone, killing myself, or jail.

It’s only by God’s grace I live today.
The Bud Light 7oz, Boone’s Farm Snow Creek Berry, AfterShock, and numerous other untold brands that got me through the 90’s.
And thanks again to the Man upstairs for not allowing me to contract any STD’s. I think we were all like a cut dog back then. Quantity over quality.

I’ve taught my Gen Z children to make real drinks like White Russians, old fashioned, Mai tais, etc

One of the few things that makes me proud of the younger generation is they seem to not be big drinkers.

Gen Z is drinking less and there are several theories as to why.
This one's at the top of my list:
People who suffer from depression and drink alcohol (another depressant) are only making their condition worse.

Mental health awareness
Years ago, people routinely turned to alcohol instead of each other to cope with the stresses of life. It’s why “drowning one’s sorrows” became a well-known phrase.
But in today’s world, people talk far more openly about depression, anxiety and other mental health issues, explains Dr. Anand. There’s an understanding that these feelings are part of the human condition— and that alcohol isn’t a solution.
“Alcohol is a depressant and never the answer to a bad day,” says Dr. Anand. “Gen Z seems to understand that concept and they’ve moved in a different direction.”

We had a bar that had quarter beers “til someone pees or leaves.”

We drank a lot of beer and what we called jungle juice which I think was mostly vodka with some Hawaiian punch. We also got really messed up on hurricanes at Pat Os.
