My 7pm Friday flight turned into a 3pm Saturday flight from a totally different airport. American, of course.

You said it yourself you fly max 8 times a year… there’s people that do/have done that in a month. And I can assure you your experience doesn’t top the list of nightmare flights.
You had an annoying flight, definitely not an air travel nightmare sheesh…

I normally stick to flying Delta as I usually have an overall good experience and I like their SkyMiles program. But on this trip I went American because their flight times worked better for my schedule.
Lesson learned.

I hate flying for these reasons. I flew to Phoenix recently, the guy in front of me soaked himself in Polo Blue cologne. Three of hours of that left me with a headache and that smell stuck in my nose all day.
