Dipping is where it’s at. It’s so relaxing. You don’t smell either. It’s also cheaper. You can do it indoors. It suppresses your appetite so you lose weight too. Dipping is great on road trips. You can dip inside tiger stadium too. You can dip in movie theaters. You can dip in class.

Anecdotally, I have been addicted to both and its not close.
I'll have a mild headache and be tired if I don't drink my daily caffeine (and I drink like 3-4 cups a day of strong coffee).
When I was a chain smoker in college, if I didn't smoke, I was an angry, mean psychopath that would binge eat and bite my fingernails. I couldn't really think straight because I was just thinking about running to the gas station and grabbing a pack. fricking brutal. First drag of a cigarette would send wave of warm comfort across my body.

Yeah it’s become pretty common among HS kids at this point.
The larger issue is what they’re vaping. Because it’s definitely not just nicotine.

Most of the adverse health effects are from the smoke, and it's much better to vape if you're addicted. But nicotine is not completely benign.

I may end up being the minority but I tried using a vape to quit smoking. It hurt my chest way worse than smoking did. I'm still not convinced that there isn't going to be a huge backlash eventually when they figure out that vaping poses some really serious health risk in its own right.
