Well it is the CDC, anything they can manufacture into a public health crisis they will because they can demand funding to "combat" it. The CDC gets tens of millions of dollars per year just to fund anti-tobacco campaigns, it gets millions more for research and grant funding. The CDC will attack anything remotely tangential to tobacco use, regardless of actual health impact.

They are moving on to the original cash crop Martha Washington used to have ready for George after a hard days workin the field. Marijuana is where the future will be for Phillip Morris. They have already started phasing out their tobacco fields in NC and lobbying the legislation for legalization.

Absolutely. They didn't get where they are being stupid.
They see that tobacco is on the downgrade and with the popularity of e-cigs as well as a greater acceptance of marijuana they are striking while the iron is hot.
