I drove myself to and from the procedure and went to work (desk job) the next day. It was not a big deal in my experience. My nuts were a little uncomfortable for a week or two.

Had mine done the Friday before the Auburn & LSU game in 2009. My Dr was a good looking blond who turned out to be an LSU fan. She was wearing LSU scrubs when she came in the room. Kinda fitting a female LSU fan denutted me, an Auburn fan, considering how the game went the next day. We got slaughtered.
As for the procedure, my memory is a bit fuzzy due to the passage of time. I seem to remember there being a painful shot to the nads. I didn’t feel the cut, but I remember during the procedure I had a dull sensation similar to the pain after getting hit in the nuts. It wasn’t anywhere near as intense pain as getting hit in the nuts, but the same sensation, if that makes sense. It only took a few minutes. When it was over, Mrs Vader took me home to relax in my recliner and enjoy a weekend of college football and frozen peas on my nut sack.

Getting mine done in the next few months and I’m not looking forward to it. Shots don’t bother me, but the idea of one in the scrotum sends a shiver up my spine. Hoping for some nitrous or a Valium

Will have to read through this thread later. Wife had a meltdown because she was “late this month and the pregnancy tests must be wrong”. Of course she did not completely overreact and things happened at 35 days and it’s still my fault

It’s safe and easy, stop reading stories online. You’ll be uncomfortable for a few days afterwards. Make your wife serve you while you lay in bed and watch movies.

See if they have an option to be sedated. I could have chosen either one, but I chose to be conscious for 1 shot in the arm for an IV vs a needle in my sack.

Just had mine done on 4/9/25. Was supposed to be in February but Dr Blue had to go out on medical leave. Ended up getting Dr. Fougerousse pretty cool guy. Was kind of awkward talking golf and the masters while he's handling my ball bag and talking to nurses but otherwise okay. The numbing shot was painless, only felt a numb type of pressure similar to the dentist. Now when they pulled the left side vas I'm 99% sure I levitated. It felt like he was tugging my belly button and big toe at the same time. Other than that I kept waiting for the misery that never came. Went home, the girlfriend made sure I was rotating ice packs regularly. (Amazon ice pack underwear are amazing). I will say make sure for at least a week wear underwear that have the pouch and support the weight. The pain was similar to walking around with a case of blue balls constantly. Come Saturday night the cold beer had gone down a little too well and I couldn't take it anymore, hopped on the GF and did the deed(slowly). I was worried about the first bust being painful as I have heard stories but it relieved the pressured feeling instantly (refer to blueballs comment) Dr told me come back to sample in 3 months/25 ejaculations. I said well which one is it? I can see you in a month max or I can wait 3 months and be well over the 25.
