Titleist High End Line Driver and Irons

I am not rich enough, nor am I good enough for clubs like these. If if I were, it would be hard to pull the trigger on this type of expenditure.

With PXG and Titleist out if the gates, I hope the quality of regular golf clubs are not negatively impacted.

Is an amateur shelling out $1000 dollars for a driver, when the market for a "good" driver is $400-$500, any different than said amateur spending $300-$350 dollars for a Scotty Cameron when you can get a "good" putter for $100-$150?

Those are concepts I believe, but regardless they look like shite for 3 grand. Would much rather the T-MB irons, those are awesome looking.

I concur - I think the MBs are a much sexy club and tested. Much better value there.

You use the pitter so much more during the round - I could justify the expense for a Scotty...have not done it yet, but could.

Meh, the $1800 set of forged Mizunos are still better irons.

My point is there will always be people willing to spend more money than they should because they think it will make them better.

Make no mistake, there will be a least one local lunch game pro at every course in America that has one of those drivers and set of irons.

I agree with you. If someone wants to pay that much for it then be my guest. I wont, but I don't care what you do with your money.

Putting is just all technique and feel, though. The tech makes much less of a difference there in my eyes.

I was given a Scotty a few years back by a friend of mine who is a teaching pro - great look, right model, everything.

I rolled the thing like shite. Just had no feel with it at all. I switched back to my old Odyssey and have been putting lights out ever since.
