Sounds like someone is getting some funny feelings they’re unable to process.

Imagine how many there would be if LSU was playing UGA. BR has the highest AIDS rate by city and LA is the 5th highest state and GA is the 3rd highest state. Higher than L.A. and CA.

There is a reason for that

Southern versus Morehouse College would win most commercials with a Louisiana team playing a Georgia team.

I know right???? Why should anyone be bothered by a steady bombardment of messaging from Big Pharma telling young & impressionable people that it's perfectly normal and inconsequential to have HIV.

Especially like that one w/ the two guys ogling each other at a bus stop, reinforcing the notion that random hookups have no consequences, as long as Big Pharma is there to profit from those mistakes and the trillions of public dollars spent to accommodate them.

I have a friend that honestly believes that AIDS was created in a lab. He said that the reason it was created was to reduce the population of blacks and gays. He said that fifty years ago you never heard of a disease called AIDS. He also thinks that AIDS first showed up in Africa because of the black population needed to be reduced. His wife believes in his theory and thinks that what they accomplished kind of backfired on them because famous people were getting infected. I hate to say it but he got me thinking about how AIDS was developed and it was unheard of fifty years ago. I'm starting to think that AIDS was developed in a lab. If it was produced to limit certain populations then I would not want to be responsible for killing thousands of people. You seldom hear about AIDS today and I think that they are close to developing a cure for AIDS.

The United States and New Zealand are the only countries that allow direct to consumer advertising.

I wish they were all banned here, don't need to see two guys holding hands or a fat lady singing her way to a weight loss drug while watching football with the kids.

I believe drug companies spend more on advertising than R&D. But, we can't allow health care plan or Medicare drug price negotiations b/c they claim that will decrease their R&D spending.

Here's an idea - quit fricking advertising for exorbitantly priced drugs and move those funds to R&D and lower costs.

The pharmaceutical lobbyists have political power far beyond the interests of the American consumer. We subsidize the rest of the world's lower costs, including European countries who can afford our high costs but don't put up with that bullshite.

In all seriousness, that’s just one more in a laundry list of reasons I have no time or desire for television anymore outside the 15 minutes it takes me to eat dinner, or maybe the occasional game, and honestly that’s probably more than I should be giving that crud. From top to bottom, it’s garbage, it’s corruptive to your mind and spirit, and serves no purpose really than to keep you from things that can prove significantly more beneficial to your life, mold your mind, and desensitize you to crap that corrupts you.

Turn it off, and gay commercials and gay indoctrination goes bye bye.

I really don't care if you're gay, but is the market really that big for HIV gheys to have the constant commercials?

How about the ad spend for Medicaid people to make sure they renew benefits. As if paying for Medicaid itself was not taxing enough, but the ad spend rivals Jake from State Farm.

It seems to be a very small market to spend money on a national advertising campaign.

Nonetheless, remember in the 80’s when AIDS first became a big deal and the media was screaming to the top of their lungs that is wasn’t just a “gay disease”? Even though the overwhelming majority of people getting and dying from the disease were gay?

A few generations of kids were convinced by these disingenuous bozos that a first kiss could bring the risk of AIDS along with it. 30-40 years later you watch these commercials which prove what basic intuition told everyone a long time ago. If you are not a homosexual the chances of getting AIDS are pretty low.

Of course, now that homosexuality is “mainstream popular” it’s ok to acknowledge AIDS is largely a “gay disease”

Most ads are targeted nowadays

I rarely see HIV medication commercials. What are you buying/searching?

Either way, you’ve come to the right place. People love to find new and irrelevant shite to squeal about here.
