Tipping thread. First time I've seen the request for a double tip

Ordered pizza (Rotollo's) from a newly opened location near the house.
Placed the order online, left the tip, and paid the bill.
When I went to pick up the pizza, they asked me to sign off for it. When they gave me the receipt, it had a second tip line with recommended additional tip values at the bottom of 2%, 3%, and 5%.
I tipped the first time. Not tipping again because I picked it up.
Any thoughts on what is going on here?

Entitled generations feeling entitled to as much of your money as you’re willing to be guilted into paying.

Don’t tip people that put your food on the counter is my suggestion

Okay boomer.
More likely scenario is that's just the default settings for the receipt printer that's attached to the payment system on their tablet register, and it has no way of communicating with whatever software they use to place online orders.
ETA: 135 boomers who are too dumb to understand modern CC payment systems downvoted this comment.

It's probably on every check out. You already tipped so you ignore it.

My favorite is when they add the tip into the bill and then have another line on the receipt to leave a tip as if they never charged a tip in the first place.
That and tip jars on a counter for someone handing you your order.

Servers make 2.13 an hour or whatever so they deserve a tip as long as they don't shite the bed with your table service
Everyone else makes AT LEAST minimum wage, counter service delivery, etc
If they want a tip (and it Won't be more than 5 to 10%) shite better be on time, correct, and they better smiling from ear to ear... period

That’s a bingo.
Now, it’s also a built in way to increase revenue with zero costs to the business.

Modern my arse.
Give me a tip, even though you picked up the food yourself. Oh and pay 3.5% extra for using the card too.

I moonlighted at an events center for a few years.
Honestly, these payment systems are evolving so fast that they just get away with fleecing their customers, and good luck making any money if you don't accept apple pay, or cashapp, or venmo.
The days of a simple cash register or credit card swiper are done, and these new payment systems always cost the venue money for every transaction.

Why would you tip anything on a pickup order?

Or you're just wrong so there's that

Guilt tipping. Embrace whatever awkwardness they are trying to push on you and make them feel awkward instead. It’s out of control and the only way it will stop. If employees become embarrassed they will ask owners to stop doing it. I purposely make them explain what “this screen is” when presented like I’m dumb
I’m a good tipper at restaurants and even takeout. But the fast food, “subway style” order places and especially drive thru can royally frick off
