Times Picayune highlights another story about questionable and corrupt property deals

The extremely cliffs notes version- group offered to purchase community garden/property (3 empty lots) from non-profit for 90K total a few years ago. Delisha Boyd’s real estate firm who represented the property laughed and said “why would they sell all three lots for the price of one???” Fast forward to today…Delisha Boyd’s own company is buying the lots for 15K each. So they argued the lots were worth 90K each a few years ago but now that Delisha Boyd’s firm is buying them…they are only worth 15K each. Seems reasonable and totally above board.

I saw that.
Happens all over. Filtering Spencer Pratt i learned there was a property owner selling a property for $14m. But it was bought for $27m by a non profit the owner was on the board of.
Also locally in Kenner The last administration paid $1.5m for a lot in university city valued at $300k tops.
